Friday’s miracles in Diepsloot

Every Friday people from the community are invited to come for prayer for healing. It’s another chance for those who’re going through the training on Monday to put in to practice what they’ve learned.

Here’s a photo of some who came last Friday.  We prayed for a number of people and various pains and ailments disappeared.  One woman we prayed for mentioned she had some internal problems.  After prayer she told us it felt like someone was touching her inside.  Obviously this was God — and thus she’s set free

Training others to transform Diepsloot with miracles of love.

“The vision of training others to walk in God’s power to touch the lives of others in Diepsloot is well under way. After Monday’s training we organize going out in the community during the week to put it in practice — to share the good news, bind up the broken hearted, and heal the sick.  Here’s a photo from Wednesday’s group — the others from our current group (another four people) will go out together on Saturday.

One of the most exciting things for me is not just seeing people get set free from my own personal interaction with them, but rather seeing people get set free as others take hold of the truth and run with it themselves. I encourage each one to pray for and minister to the sick and share the Gospel. To see people healed and encouraged through the hands and words of others who’ve undergone the training is very encouraging. I can see the following verse coming to life:

“And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Tim. 2:2)

Bible Study by lamp light in Diepsloot

Below you’ll find a recording of Monday’s Bible Study where we studied how to live as a son (New Covenant) as contrasted to the Old Covenant, servant mentality.

In the Old Covenant God would use particular people on particular occasions. Now we walk as a son, in the fullness of Christ, at all times. There’s a big difference!  That’s why Jesus said the things He did we would do also (Jn. 14:12), and why He calls us His brother.  (Heb. 2:11)  Learn to live the miraculous — as a child of God!

Examine yourselves to see if you’re in the faith. (AUDIO)

As a Christian there’s nothing more important we could do than ensuring that our spiritual foundation is made sure. Without a solid foundation buildings collapse. Without a solid spiritual foundation all our “spirituality” collapses and comes to nothing, and we could wake up one day to the sad tune of a life wasted. Let’s not be in that situation.

Paul encourages to “examine yourselves to see if you are in the faith. Test yourselves.” (2 Cor. 13:5)

So let’s do it :) The audio recording of this talk is below.

After this talk about 20 people lined up for prayer for healing.  People were set free from various pains and health issues.

Healings, Demonic Deliverance, Sharing the Gospel – training others.

Every Monday I host a study group and training session in Diepsloot (and every Friday a healing / evangelistic service). During the week and weekend we take this truth out in to the community to see lives transformed and set free.

(Click on a photo to enlarge)

Top-left:  I originally prayed for the man in the center for his finger (swollen, had pain, and was broken or something similar), after the pain left he was open to receive Christ. His wife (left) then came in and wanted prayer as well — all had drinking problems. As I was praying for them the woman started to manifest a demon and crumpled to the ground, waving her hands as if she didn’t like nor want what was happening. Her face also contorted and showed indignation. Knowing this was a demon I focused attention to her alone until the demon was gone and she was set free … When she looked up I could see freedom in her eyes. All present then prayed to accept Christ as they saw the reality of the spiritual realm and power of God before their very eyes. The man confessed his wife had told him previously that she would kill him (while under the influence of alcohol, and the demon) — I told him not to worry, she is now set free. I discussed the importance of getting filled with the spirit of God (which they did) and continuing to grow in His Word (I invited them to our Monday and Friday meetings) — thus filling themselves with light so the darkness would not return.

Bottom-left:  This man was beaten and shot four times. As a result his spinal chord and legs weren’t working right and he could barely walk (with much pain). After prayer he was walking better and declared the pain was gone — and he opened his life to Jesus as well.

Bottom-right:  My son enjoys coming with me to share the Gospel and set people free. Here he is about to launch out to do just that, starting at our meeting place in Diepsloot where we hold Monday and Friday meetings as well as meet during the week to launch out in to the community.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations … teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you …  as you go, preach, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give … And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (Matthew 28:19-20, 10:7-8, 2 Timothy 2:2)

Believing God’s Word and Healing the sick (AUDIO)

Here’s a photo from last Monday’s training session. We gathered in a hall with only the light from an oil lamp due to no electricity. What a feeling :) I taught on the Creative, Miraculous power of God’s Word; discussing how God’s Word is more real than the things we see, how it brings life and healing, and more. Feel free to download and listen to the audio below. I’ve also posted two excerpts if you want to get a short idea before listening to the whole audio.

Linking sickness and the demonic – Casting out demons

I want to share an experience from last Sunday which involved casting out a clearly demonically related sickness (and accompanying demon) — and thus establishing the fact that the realm of sickness and disease is not something we need to tolerate nor is it ‘sent from God to teach us something’, but it is something which Jesus bore so we don’t have to (Isa. 53:4, Mt. 8:16-17) and thus needs to be dealt with in the way that Jesus prescribes such as when He told his disciples to “heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons…” (Matthew 10:8) — something which He said all believers should be doing as well.  (Mk. 16:15-20)

“God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38)

After speaking on the Mystery and power of the Gospel last Sunday at a church in Diepsloot, many people lined up to receive prayer, healing, infilling of the spirit, etc.  All were delivered from their various pains and such and one lady in particular asked for prayer against stomach pains.  I proceeded to command her stomach to be healed and released life (see Acts 3:6) at which she started doubling over in pain.

I asked her what she was feeling and she said the pain was now moving from her stomach and darting here and there — throughout her body.  At this I knew we weren’t simply dealing with a physical issue and proceeded to command the demon to leave after which her pain was gone, and I could tell she was completely set free (from both the pain and the evil spirit that caused it).

Along the same lines a friend of mine related an instance where he and another brother were praying for someone who was blind in one eye.  After quite a while of proclaiming healing for that eye the person exclaimed that his other eye was now blind too!  Well, this made it clear that it was not simply a physical issue — so they proceeded to cast out this demon after which the person was immediately set free — having perfect vision in both eyes.

Both of these situations are examples how satan has a deep interest in promoting (and causing and/or exacerbating) sickness and disease (whatever steals, kills, and destroys (see Jn. 10:10)),  because he’s out to destroy those who were created in God’s image (that would be us).  This is not to say that each and every cold or other sickness has its physical manifestations directly resulting from present demonic activity.  However, at minimum, every sickness and disease CAN be traced back to original sin, the fall, and thus stems ultimately from the direct work of the devil within the realm of mankind. (There’s no sickness, pain, nor disease in Heaven, after all.)  Based upon this, Jesus has come to “destroy the works of the devil” (1 Jn. 3:8) and redeem mankind from every curse (Gal. 3:13, which includes sickness and disease) and effectively offer salvation to all who will believe. (Rom. 10:9)

Now the word salvation (saved) is used both in instances of physical healing (James 5:15) as well as spiritual renewal and deliverance (Acts 16:31).  The reason for this is because it’s the same Greek word (sozo) used (the language which the New Testament was originally written in) which means to be set free from an oppressor and to be made whole.  The Devil is busy stealing, killing, destroying, and oppressing all mankind through various means, one of which includes sickness and disease — thus Jesus came to remove it (1 Jn. 3:8) and thus we see Him healing ALL the sick who came to him. (Mt. 8:16, Lk. 4:40, etc.)

Jesus came to offer us complete salvation — body and spirit.  Thus we have the symbol of communion at which Jesus took the bread and said “this is my body which is broken for you” (1 Cor. 11:24) (relating to physical healing see also 1 Peter 2:24), as well as the cup which symbolized the shedding of His blood for the forgiveness of sins. (Eph. 1:7)  Both are components of salvation and both Jesus made available at cost of considerable pain and suffering which He had to endure.

The Bible says many are sick due to not correctly discerning the Lord’s body (1 Cor. 11:29-30) at the time of communion, so there’s something (a lot actually) to be said for understanding what Jesus provided for us.  Jesus provided his own body, whipped and beaten, as payment for our physical healing.  He provided his blood as payment for our sins.  Let us not minimize the stripes of Jesus he bore for us.  Let us not partake only of the blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sin, but let’s partake of his body as well for the healing of our bodies.   Jesus thought it important enough to provide both — so should we not partake of what Jesus suffered to provide?  Let us not allow His suffering to be in vain, but rather give him the reward for which he bore each and every stripe on his body.  Not to mention of course the healing benefit it provides for all who believe.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.”  (John 6:53)

For His glory and honor,

– Paul

Mystery & Power of the Gospel, revealed (AUDIO)

Last Sunday I spoke again at Miracle Centre in Diepsloot.  The topic was on the “Mystery of the Gospel” which is now revealed.  (Please see below to download or play the audio files.)

What is the Gospel?  What is the good news?  Is it that Jesus died for us?  Well, that’s what made the Gospel possible — but Jesus’ death isn’t the result, it is the cause and vehicle.  Jesus death and resurrection brought forth something so powerful and life-changing that God had to hide this knowledge  from the very beginning lest the devil would not have had Jesus crucified.  This knowledge of the Gospel and the mission He was to accomplish is what prompted Jesus to say, “the works that I do you will do also, and even greater … and whatever you ask in My name, I will do it.” (Jn. 14:12-14) — because He knew the transformational power that would become available to every one who receives Him.

“However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” (1 Corinthians 2:6-10)

Well, it’s not a mystery anymore!  “The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations … has now been revealed to His saints … for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren.” (Colossians 1:26-29, Hebrews 2:11)

Healing and the prayer of faith (AUDIO)

“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.” (James 5:15)

This was the follow-up to Sunday at our Monday night Bible Training in Diepsloot. The topic was healing and how to effectively pray the prayer of faith. You can listen to the audio recording of this session down below.

Training others. Transforming Diepsloot. Moving ahead.

Diepsloot will experience transformation when enough locals receive and are trained how to walk in God’s love and power — as they reach out to their neighbors and offer transformation just as they were transformed themselves. (2 Tim. 2:2)  As this begins to happen, transformation multiplies throughout the community, springing out from the lives of people themselves.

This is what’s beginning to happen now.

Sunday I spoke at a local church in Diepsloot where we’ll be basing out of for our weekly training courses (every Monday), healing the sick and sharing the Gospel (regularly going with locals out in to the community), and holding healing/evangelistic services (every Friday: Making God known through His Word and via a direct touch to their body when needed).  After the message on Sunday about 15-20 people lined up for healing and were set free from their various pains and ailments — eyes, backs, legs, etc.

If you’re interested in living the Great Commission Jesus gave in Mk. 16:15-18 including, “these signs shall follow those who believe…” and “lay hands on the sick and they will recover”, then please feel free to download and listen to Sunday’s message as well as the recorded training session held last Monday. I’ll be posting them regularly; so even if you can’t make it to Diepsloot, you can still listen in :)

If you’d like to participate in going out within Diepsloot (or other locations) and seeing people set free and made well, then get in touch with me. The same goes for attending the Monday’s training or Friday’s healing service — just get in touch and I’ll give you the details, location, and time — and together we’ll do our part to transform Diepsloot! — To unleash the tidal wave of God’s love and power that transforms minds, bodies, hearts and spirits — creating new life and perspective; one which looks out from the standpoint of faith, hope, and love, and within the context of a vibrant relationship with the one who Created all things.
